'Smart Saturday's'

Gone are the days when formal wear was just a 'Monday to Friday' routine, and definition of casual was
t-shirt & denims.
The divisions in our wardrobes have finally dissolved, & mixing pieces has not only expanded our ways to style ourselves, but has also made dressing up more fun.
So don't let your jacket hang in the closet, for those special meetings at work, wear them in the day with a 'T', shorts, or denims, and glamorize them at night with a sequined tank or dress.
Go for classic solids or preppy prints
Widen the color spectrum from chic 'White', to funky 'Neons'.
Play with different styles, & never forget to accessorize,
Its time to Mix & Match.

'Pink & Punk'

'Pink' is the new 'punk'
and that's what our pick of the week is all about.
Whether you want to 'spice' up your LBD's, or 'spike' up your formal jacket,
this 'teal pink' necklace from Fab alley is the right accessory for the right statement.
Wear it with studs as a choker or wear it with florals as a neck collar.
It's time to redefine 'Pretty'.

'Simple ideas'

It is true 'there is no place like home'
One place where we can, what we want, do what we wish, & wear what we love.
Mixing elements, which have no sync as individuals, but when put together they are perfect for each other.
Walls which don't divide us, but connects us, maybe with some old memories framed, but still fresh in your mind. Furniture which is not picked up from any expensive store, but small elements which have a story, which we can relate to.
Then why not make it more 'US'.
So make your home, your own space of simple ideas.

'Sunny Side Up'

No doubt 'Yellow' is the color of joy.
Whether wear it's as a 'Pastel' or a 'Wacky Neon', worn for a day at work, or for a brunch with friends, styled in the right tone, it not only makes one look good, but makes one feel good too. A must have for every girl's wardrobe as it easily gels & blends with other colors.
WHAT TO WEAR:
If subtle & chic is your story--Go for preppy prints, asymmetric hems, kimono sleeves, pastel pleated pants, complimenting color cut work ballerina's, and classic aviators
If wacky & weird is your cup of tea-- Bright yellow pants is a must have, solid or plaid upper wear, tea-shades will add to the quirkiness.
With the weather taking a switch, and summer beginning to reach its end, pull on your sunny side.

"Work of Art"

Everyday is like a blank canvas
You know you can paint it anyway you want it
You can draw black clouds, you can make the sun shine
Color in a rainbow, or use black and white
Open up your eyes and, your imagination

Come on let's write a song, a little poetry

Take a photograph, let's make some memories
You can make it anything that you want it to be

If you follow your heart, Life is a work of art

Demi Lovato

' Spring 13 '

How can we miss, 'Fashion at its best' being showcased at
one of the most happening fashion capitals of the word
'NEW YORK'
New York fashion week, time when right from the ramps to streets, style is something that cant be missed.
For 'Spring 13', fashion creators worked their best, with ideas from round the world.
Inspiration from Melodramatic Bollywood to intricate Indian handicrafts & mixed color palette was seen in collection by 'Marchesa' where sarees & thread work, mixed with hand painting, was used to ornate dresses & gowns. 'Vera Wang' showcased her own interpretation of india with 'Whites' & dense embroidery.
Marc Jacobs 'Striped' 60's & androgynous style of Rag & bone, were another hit of the season.
Spring is all about florals, and camouflaged colors, which was very well portrayed by Brood & Stephen Burrows.
What we loved, was the wide kaleidoscope of colors, digital camouflaged prints, Asymmetric silhouettes, and layered styling.
Here are some of our favorite picks.

'Androgyny at it's Best'

With 70's flashing everywhere, and androgynous style hitting the ramps, the New romantic's are back, with over sized Jackets, high waisted pants ,neck ties & bows, boxy shoulders and minimal accessories.
A classic black & white can never be out of style. They are the 2 essential's of a wardrobe.
Take a leap from colors to classic combinations.
So hang those dresses, it's time to 'Suit Up'

(P.S--Androgyous Dressing became a hit during New Romanticism, a Pop culture of the late 70's, giving rise to glam rock & gender bending.)
