'Caught on Cover'

Don't Judge a Book by its cover... Unless.. Its a MAGAZINE..
New month... gets with itself our new stack of Fashion Magazines..!!
And the very first thing that catches our eyes, is the COVER !!
(PS: On average, a consumer will spend only three seconds looking at a
magazine on a newsstand before deciding whether or not to pick it up)

Well...October, seems like a pretty good month.. as we have a tough competition for the Best one..!!
With Vogue Coming out with it's 5th anniversary issue, starring Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma , Bazaar gave a bang on Sonakshi Sinha with a whole new avatar
(styled by none other than Anamika Khanna)..!!
Not just that... Grazia.. was simply Stunning, featuring Lakshmi Menon..in a Dior Dress..
(It took all our attention)!!
Diana Penty looked pretty too on the Elle, but not that tough..(we loved the Cover line and cover style) !!
While Kareena Kapoor being the current talk of Bollywood  did the 3rd cover this month for Hello
(Also did with Femina & Notch), she indeed made her presence felt..
And lastly, Verve..with its annual best dressed issue, did a great job choosing the correct Cover girls.

Decision time: our vote goes with Grazia this month....What about you ?

The word "ART"

Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.

'Colors and Characters'

A character in layman terms, is a distinctive quality of an individual, but what about the distinctiveness of the elements around us which builds a 'Character'.
An old door welcoming generations, the rust shows the age, but the fact it is still steady shows the strength.
The texture of the wall generated by mixed color attempts to hide old stains. For some it might be imperfect, but for some the character lies in the 'Imperfection'.
A beard grown from decades, might have grayed with time, but still symbolizes power, respect, and portrays experience.
Oxidization on old jewelry, which we try hard to clean, ignoring the fact it has a new character to itself, no matter how hard we try, it will never be the same and that's the beauty of it.
Look for the hidden details which we ignore, those are the true shades of a 'Character'

Absolute Abstract

ABSTRACT ART is something that always tickles our mind
and that's because
"It gives us the freedom to explore the artwork and assign our own meaning to a piece."
It's not just visually appealing but also means something to the artist who created it.

Abstract art is not anymore just applied to painting or sculpture, it is there everywhere..from
architecture, to installations, to product design, to motifs and of course to photography.

So, next time, when you look at an "abstract art", open your mind and have a big imagination..'coz, it is always open to interpretation. And thats the most beautiful part.

'Timeless Tales'

We are some what surrounded by timeless creations, whether its a piece of jewelry owned by your mother passed on for generations, or just a memory which you will always cherish, it is priceless. Its the details which inspires & connects us, could be the rust, the faded colors, the uniqueness with which its crafted or the broken pieces which we always preserve.
No matter we keep it, or discard it,
'old' can never be 'old fashioned'.
